Responsibilities

  • Design of composite and metallic Wing structures across various Airbus programmes
  • Create design schemes, frontier and interfaces drawings and Data for manufacture (component drawings)
  • Able to assess design solutions within the time, cost and quality parameters and manage offload to suppliers if necessary
  • Ensure the structural design meets programme airworthiness and product requirements and in line with cascaded Design Quality Assurance Criteria
  • Define, deliver and enable technical studies, trades and investigations to ensure the delivery of technical solutions in accordance with relevant Design methods and procedures
