Responsibilities

  • To complete daily, weekly and monthly financial control reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of the transactions being processed by the Banking Providers and Agents of NS&I and through the various customer accounting systems
  • The accuracy of the transaction accounting information being input to the financial accounting systems and being reported in the monthly, quarterly and annual Product Accounts
  • To establish, in a timely and accurate manner, the daily National Loans Fund (NLF) Funding and Defunding figures, and to help ensure that this information is passed on to the Bank of England and the Treasury by the specified deadlines to meet Performance Indicator (PI) accuracy and timeliness targets
  • To support the completion of live IR accounting entries
  • Undertaking allocated tasks to the quality and productivity standards set by the Senior Accounting Manager and Accounting Manager
  • Being proactive in making sure you are adequately cross skilled to help the team meet customer demand
  • Proactively contributing informed ideas and suggestions on how delivery for the Customer can be improved
  • Active engagement in team meetings
