Responsibilities

  • To provide a supervisory role in the day to day provision of high quality administrative support an effective and efficient service in line with Standard Operating procedures and Trust policies across the Moor to Sea services.
  • The post holder is responsible for their own workload, undertaking reception, administrative and clerical tasks associated with the smooth running of all departments.
  • These will include both telephone and personal contact with patients, families, carers and professionals involved in the patients’ journey.
  • The areas of responsibility extend across Dart Ward, The Minor Injury Unit and the Outpatient Department at Totnes Hospital and the Outpatient Departments at Ashburton and Dartmouth Health and Wellbeing Centres.
  • The main duties of the job will be to provide day to day supervision of a team of up to 7 administrative staff working across the 3 sites of the Team: Totnes Hospital, Ashburton and Dartmouth Health and Wellbeing Centres.
  • The post holder is responsible for their own workload, undertaking reception, administrative and clerical tasks associated with the smooth running of all departments.
  • These will include telephone and personal contact with patients, families, carers and professionals involved in the patient’s journey.
