Responsibilities

  • - Contributing to the development and delivery of a high quality administrative service tailored to meet the requirements of the Safeguarding Children Team, Named Doctor, Named Nurse, Named Midwife and other clinical staff.
  • - Managing a busy workload and demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
  • - Having a flexible approach to the workload and being able to deal with distressing and sensitive information.
  • - Providing an efficient service welcoming visitors, dealing with enquiries as a first point of contact in person and on the telephone.
  • - Using tact and experience to reassure telephone callers that they will be dealt with professionally and by the most appropriate member of the team.
  • - Communicating clearly, concisely and with compassion with patients, other safeguarding partners, police and social care.
  • - Ensuring effective communication is maintained between members of the team taking personal responsibility to update and share information.
