Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers in driving sales to ensure monthly and annual GSV targets are delivered through forecast accuracy, purchase order tracking, and inventory management.
  • Analyze sales results at the brand, door, and SKU level to ensure sufficient selling productivity; compile monthly analysis, insights, and key findings to help drive and improve retail sales.
  • Responsible for developing and owning an accurate sales consumption forecast at the unit and dollar level for respective lines of business, including monitoring performance, evaluating impact, and recommending shifts or enhancements to investment based on sales trends.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting fact-based business analytics for assigned categories including promotion evaluation for effectiveness and efficiency, applicable customer-specific data analysis, brand/category trends, marketing plans, objectives, and space recommendation.
  • Identify opportunity gaps to drive incremental volume based on customer-specific data analysis and brand/category trends, marketing plans, and sales objectives.
  • Function as the data expert to support the internal team in all selling processes, event consumption and forecasting.
  • Play a key support role in building the annual business plan based upon analytical review of historical and competitive data and strategic direction for the category, brand, and shopper.
  • Analyze current and historical customer data and formulate customer presentation material and ensure accurate customer scorecards to support the Account Manager team.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with key retailers through weekly communication, participation in bi-weekly sales meetings, and assistance with seasonal market meetings.
  • Track purchase orders and work collaboratively with customer service and retail merchants to ensure OTIF.
  • Partner with account managers, customer service, trade marketing, retailer merchant teams, to execute new launch support, assist in managing new item information files to retailer merchant teams, nonsaleable support tools, communicate annual price increase detail.
  • Works with demand planning to ensure forecast accuracy for top 25 skus, NPD, and non-rev.
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and continuously question data, asking deep dive questions and pursuing answers that may not be readily apparent.
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc customer analysis reporting in a timely manner.
