Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of pricing models for UK Property business.
  • Perform profitability analyses as needed to provide guidance to Underwriting on business decisions.
  • Support the pricing team in management of data collection processes from pricing tools and analysis of that data.
  • Assist Underwriters when required for technical premiums and for rate change estimation on individual insureds, including queries on pricing model outputs on individual insureds.
  • Support training and education to Underwriters for the understanding and proper usage of pricing models and methodologies.
  • Assist with the monitoring of key pricing metrics and assure accuracy and credibility of the monitoring process and reporting.
  • Contribute to the design and, where necessary the production, of management information to assist underwriters and the management team.
  • Assist Actuarial leads with producing recommendations for loss ratios as part of the business and strategic planning exercises.
  • Liaise with colleagues in pricing teams across Global Property on related topics, to leverage capability, insights and ensure consistency in approach.
  • Leverage other AXA XL capabilities in the output of the pricing team to support underwriters in decision-making e.g. Geospatial Underwriting, Risk Consulting, Strategic Analytics, Enterprise Business Data Solutions and Accelerate.
