Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with field sales in actively pursuing targeted industries opportunities and accounts by using internal selection tools.
  • Collaborate efforts with component vendors to integrate Sumitomo Products, into designed prepared packages, to offer to specific industry targets.
  • Perform cost analysis of new inquiries and quotations between SHI and SMA sales force.
  • Review customer inquiries and project requirements to establish scope of supply limits and costing.
  • Develop detailed comments to client project specifications.
  • Assist in the evaluation of non-standard product requests, applications, and capabilities.
  • Work with Sales, Customers and Vendors to obtain project specific information and develop project equipment applications.
  • Prepare technical data to internal and external customers.
  • Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
