What are the primary responsibilities of the Architect IV?
The primary responsibilities include collaborating in all phases of work, contributing to designs using tools from hand sketching to Revit, preparing construction drawings, reviewing building codes and standards, reviewing construction submittals, preparing material sample boards and physical models, and advancing high-performance aspects of design and systems coordination.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Required qualifications include a Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree, a minimum of 10+ years of experience (with academic K through Grad experience a plus), strong communication and graphic presentation skills, proficiency in Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and a passion for high-performance sustainable architectural design. Additionally, LEED Accreditation is required, with WELL and Phius certification as a plus, and architectural registration is strongly preferred.
What software skills are necessary for this role?
Proficiency with Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite is required, as well as experience with Rhino or environmental analysis design software.
