Responsibilities

  • In your role, you will act as the principal Training Course Loading Manager to the Royal Engineers (RE) Army Reserve (AR). You will act as the single point of contact for all RE AR course bids, prioritisation and allocation matters liaising with key stakeholders. You will manage the in-year training requirement to achieve required training outputs.
  • You will provide an administrative support function, monitor training status and progress whilst providing weekly reports, in person or in writing, to senior management and at key RE AR policy / training meetings.
  • You will liaise with a wide range of stakeholder agencies, both internal and external to Defence.
  • Management of training course bids, prioritisation, allocation and loading throughout RE AR.
  • Management of RE AR training requirements and delivery.
  • Conducting / attending meetings on behalf of Branch.
  • Responsible for preparation meeting materials.
  • Deputising for Branch Lead.
  • Act as HQ’s Course Loading expert (‘TARGET’ in-house system - training will be provided).
  • You will be responsible for collation of evidence to determine future training budgets.
  • Prepare written justification to support estimated training reductions / increases.
  • Delivery of off-site RE AR Unit Training Audits, Assurance and Inspections. Occasional overnight stays will be required.
