Description

  • XPS is experiencing rapid growth and we are looking to hire an enthusiastic Assistant DC Pension Consultant to join our Defined Contribution Schemes team in London with hybrid working.
  • We are an award-winning Pensions Consultancy with over 1600 staff in 16 locations across the UK. The DC Consulting team are responsible for working with colleagues and other internal teams who are committed to providing a first-class service to our clients. 
  • The team is responsible for supporting Defined Contribution pension schemes, both trust based, and contract based, and ensure these schemes are well run and have market leading governance arrangements in place.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of Defined Contributions schemes and perhaps already be in an Assistant Consultant position.
  • Possess Strong IT skills.
  • Keen to study for PMI or FCA approved advisor qualifications (e.g,CII or equivalent) unless you are already part way through.
  • Have high degree of professional integrity and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a multi- disciplinary team, as our consulting team work closely with both our actuarial, investment, administration, and support teams.
  • Client focussed.

  • Under direction, you will provide high quality consultancy support to the DC Consulting team and its clients/trustees.
  • Role will involve client work, people and work management and development.
  • Assist senior colleagues with scheme transitions, employee communications, preparation of value for money assessments and draft Chair statements.
  • Participate in general pensions consultancy, undertake research on topical issues and legislative change and present on these matters and contribute to business development when required.
