- We are seeking a graduate to join BDP’s growing sustainability profession. The successful candidate will have a passion for sustainability in the built environment, demonstrated through qualification in a relevant subject. They will be enthusiastic and driven to effect change through the practical implementation of the principles of sustainability. Some experience in design and/or architecture would be beneficial
Requirements
- Required:
- A relevant qualification in environmental design and/or a sustainability related subject
- An understanding of the interdependencies of sustainability aspects and impacts in the built environment
- Exemplary written and spoken English, with experience of report writing and presentations
- Desirable:
- Experience in working in the built environment
- Experience in implementing sustainability initiatives in projects or organisations
- Membership of a relevant body

Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will join a growing team of specialist consultants working across all areas of the built environment. They will assist in the delivery of sustainability strategies, including environmental assessment, life-cycle assessment, and performance monitoring, for a range of projects across different sectors and scales. They will be supported by a team of specialist consultants alongside BDP’s wider design professions, including planners, interior designers, landscape architects, architects, engineers and a range of specialists.
- They must have the ability to communicate effectively as well as possessing numerical, analytical and graphical skills. They will be able to work well within a team.
