Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the existing and target regional customer segments and champion relevant insights regarding our consumer.
  • Partner closely with Global Product Marketing to ensure regional alignment with global strategies. Ensure that global campaigns deliver clear product positioning and compelling reasons to buy across all touchpoints.
  • Manage relationship between GPM and Regional Teams- be the voice of the region to global.
  • Understand all Americas channels, their needs and how the work together to maximize sales.
  • Maintain long term regional calendar, including ongoing analysis on innovation viability and regional needs.
  • Lead annual planning processes, including the bi-annual assortment process, to identify strategic add/deletes and formalizing the regional process.
  • Lead regional set assortment and regionally developed program briefs
  • Lead post-mortem analysis of new launches and campaigns with cross-channel partners, summarizing and sharing learnings across the organization to inform future initiatives and optimize campaigns.
  • Be the data & analytics lead, with the ability to quickly pull, analyze, and summarize data on the market, competitors, retailers, etc. Develop simple, effective reports/dashboards across multiple facets of the business to track progress against plans.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes, translating findings into actionable brand + campaign plans.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on performance and trends of the Sol de Janeiro business, its competitors and the beauty landscape
  • Deep dive into strategic topics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Pro-actively identify areas to research in order to uncover important insights to drive the business.
  • Develop reporting structure for regional insights and data to be shared with Global partners.
  • Lead preparation of Business Review and Planning presentations, to include developing charts for powerpoint
