Responsibilities

  • Wichtige Aufgabe und Ziel der Abteilung “Platformization of Complex Molecules” ist die Herstellung von komplexen, therapeutischen Proteinen und “critical reagents”, um Projektteams der globalen Amgen Organisation zu unterstützen. So leisten wir als Abteilung einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Erfolg von Amgens Früh- und Spätphasen Pipeline.
  • Durchführung molekularbiologischer Methoden (PCR, Klonierung, Plasmidpräparation, Sequenzierung
  • Kultivierung von Säugerzellen, Generierung stabiler Pools und Ablage von Zellbanken inkl. Durchführung von Sterilitäts- und Mykoplasmentests
  • Transiente sowie stabile Expression therapeutischer Moleküle in Shake Flasks oder Mini-Bioreaktorsystemen
  • Produktivitäts- und qualitätsbezogene Analysen zur Charakterisierung der Expressionsprodukte und Metabolite im Zellkulturüberstand
  • Übernahme von Aufgaben der allgemeinen Labororganisation und Geräteverantwortlichkeiten
  • Dokumentation im elektronischen Laborbuch
  • Auswertung, Interpretation und graphische Darstellung der Messdaten sowie Präsentation der erhaltenen Ergebnisse in internen Meetings
  • Erstellung von Vorgabedokumenten und Berichten
