Responsibilities

  • The Project Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules, and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within agreed-upon time, scope, and resource requirements. Coordinates work performed by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Coordinates elements of communication and change/process management related to project outcomes across the organization as appropriate.
  • Under general direction of project manager, provides oversight and direction to team members. Facilitates communication between Project Manager, service providers, and internal customers, including technical support at the direction of a project manager. Reviews and provides support and coordination on project-related documentation, technical memorandum, design plans, specifications, and other project-related materials; and manages specific project-related tasks as directed by the Project Manager. Fields customer concerns and works with appropriate parties for resolution. In support of PMs or Sr PMs, facilitates technical assistance to internal and external customers. Applies basic project management concepts and practices. Tracks project milestones and deliverables and reports on project and program progress as directed. Supports emergency response work as requested.
