Responsibilities

  • As the lead attorney for environmental, health and safety matters for the enterprise you’ll support the Corporate EH&S Management organization, Corporate Compliance organization, operational Business Unit EH&S Coordinators and management teams, Global Real Estate and Supply Chain organizations, Legal Department subject matter experts and Business Unit attorneys, External Affairs, Media Relations and state and federal regulatory counterparts in the United States along with some assistance on international matters.
  • You will respond to federal and state agency enforcement actions, significant compliance issues, and assist in reviewing real estate and Corporate Development transactional agreements to resolve issues over environmental terms.
  • You will assist in managing a portfolio of historic Superfund and other contaminated sites and their remediation.
  • You will help develop and implement environmental and occupational health and safety compliance policies, practices and training for business units, management, employees, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Your knowledge and expertise will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to address environmental risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
