What is the primary responsibility of the Azure Migration Sellers position?
The primary responsibility is to drive new Azure customer acquisitions in collaboration with partners in the indirect ecosystem.
What level of experience is required for this position?
A minimum of 2 years working in IT sales, marketing, or business development is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in a sales/marketing role in the IT business.
Is prior experience with Azure necessary for this role?
A basic understanding of Azure and the Microsoft partner ecosystem is required. Familiarity with Azure and/or Dynamics products and SKUs is preferred.
Are there any certification requirements for this position?
Yes, candidates must complete the Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) certification within 2 months of the hire date, and further Azure certification is recommended.
What tools will I be using in this role?
You will utilize Microsoft targeting tools like Cloud Ascent, engage with Microsoft programs, and leverage various media for partner outreach, including email and Teams.
Do I need to attend specific events as part of this role?
Yes, mandatory attendance at Microsoft-driven SureStep events such as SureStep Summits and Bootcamps is required.
Will I be collaborating with other teams or stakeholders?
Yes, you will implement a Rhythm of Business with selected partners and local Microsoft stakeholders to check on progress and gather feedback.

You will work with new and current Azure partners, specifically those developing their practice and having between 3-5 customers, as well as partners building Azure practices and hosts with SPLA business.
