Responsibilities

  • To send prescriptions screened off to Pharmacy Homecare companies.
  • To answer any queries relating to Pharmacy Homecare prescriptions sometimes liaising with patents and prescribers.
  • To process Pharmacy homecare invoices within a timely manner.
  • To organise their work and help order requested items and consumables on the Oracle system.
  • To help maintain excel spreadsheets.
  • Matching ordered items to where they need to go in pharmacy.
  • Other administrative responsibilities within a busy office, such as answering phones and taking messages.
  • The post holder will be responsible for administrative tasks associated with the maintenance and smooth running of the Homecare and Pharmacy service, ensuring all patients receiving treatments via a homecare delivery, are managed quickly and appropriately.
  • They will then also be responsible for processing invoices using the CMM pharmacy software.
  • The post holder will also support the department in purchasing consumables and stationery using the software Oracle and online portals.
  • They will also be responsible for receiving the stock, ensuring that they reach their intended location.
  • The post holder will also be asked to assist with income generation, data inputting on to a spreadsheet and directly on to the Oracle system.
