What imaging equipment will I have the opportunity to work with?
You will work with various equipment, including 5 general x-ray rooms, a fluoroscopy unit, portable ward machines, an O-arm unit, a Cios Spin unit, a DEXA scanner, 15 theatre image intensifiers, and upcoming EOS and HiRise Ped CT scanners.
What areas will I mainly work in as a Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographer?
You will primarily work in outpatient/inpatient general x-ray areas, fluoroscopy, theatres, EOS scanning, HiRise Ped CT scanning, and DXA.
Will I have the chance to teach others in this role?
Yes, you will be involved in the teaching of students and more junior members of staff.
