Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert for health & benefits, retirement, and wellbeing programs to respond to employee inquiries.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and resolve employee issues on the U.S. Health and Benefits plan; Canada Health and Benefits plan and retirement plans.
  • Assist U.S. retirement 401(k) plan, executive top hat plan, employee stock purchase plan (US and Singapore), pension administration.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance as it relates to the above plans.
  • Partner with HRBPs and communicate with HR leaders to research employee escalations on employee benefits.
  • Process benefits vendor invoices.
  • Processing of death benefits. Includes death benefit counseling and knowledge of the life insurance process.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration, analytics, and reporting.
  • Ensure all plans meet Federal and State regulations and are utilized effectively by employees. Make recommendations where appropriate for plan enhancements and cost savings.
  • Assist with compliance tasks including 5500 audit, Summary Annual Report (SAR) distribution, Retirement Drug Subsidy (RDS) coordination, partner with consultants on HIPAA training, SPD and wrap plan document updates. Ensures timely submissions of all benefit-related filings.
  • Support all plan audits.
  • Manage Service Now escalations—providing tier 2 & 3 level support.
  • Manage plan vendors with ongoing meetings, communication, process improvements, SLAs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and follow through are completed in a timely manner with good communication of results to both employees and managers.
  • Manage processes for U.S. and Canada new joiners and Benefits orientation presentations.
  • Assist with informing employees about their benefits packages.
  • Assist with M&A and Divestitures as needed, providing benefits information and guidance to employees.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment preparation, audits and reporting.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment tasks, testing, communication review as needed. Support with open enrollment Benefits fairs.
  • Assist with Wellbeing programs.
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
