Responsibilities

  • Execute and lead VDC tasks for fabrication shop.
  • These VDC tasks may include 3D Modeling, CAD work, detailing, and a variety of other computer-based fabrication tasks.
  • Be actively involved in process development and improvements for the shop.
  • Test new VDC software/hardware/technology and develop ways to make the fabrication shop more efficient.
  • You will support our current Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes and develop new VDC processes for our fabrication shop.
  • You will work with project teams to develop and complete quality control checks on models, ensure all models are clean and usable, deploy manufacturing technologies, manage changes and updates to models, and develop supplemental documents for use by superintendents and shop crews.
