  • Must become an associated person of Principal Securities and having your SIE, Series 6 licensing is highly preferred or need to obtain within the first 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service to broker dealer customers and registered representatives through various means including written correspondence, email, phone, internet, and fax.
  • Process time sensitive tasks with a high level of accuracy while maintaining high level of performance.
  • Ensure accurate and correct paperwork is received and handled appropriately utilizing available resources to research more complex requests.
  • Communicate and collaborate with teammates throughout the day to complete all tasks.
  • Provide service on the Cashiering team as needed to maintain workload balance and meet Service Level agreements. This could include but is not limited to: complete check deposit, process all nonqualified requests, death and divorce requests, journals, collateral requests, gifting of stock/mutual funds. Process all qualified requests: recharacterizations, Roth conversions, death and divorce requests, tax withholding journals, journals between retirement accounts. All approvals (transactions, periodic plans, and standing instructions) and notifications from clearing firms (checks, wires, and other complex issues). Quality Control for all levels of the cashiering team. Basic training/overviews for new employees. Salesforce monitoring/processing. Serve as a resource for department questions. Assist with more complex issues and help with projects
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
