Responsibilities

  • The Tech Lead is responsible for the technical vision of the product forms and flows automation and/or robotic process automation (RPA) including but not limited to K2 Smart Forms, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Power Platforms (Powerapps and PowerAutomate) and provides the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required by a product or an integrated chain of products.
  • Facilitates and orchestrates across teams the agile and incremental delivery of targeted business outcomes (minimum viable products) in DevOps mode. This role animates technical discussions and sharing within own team and across teams, participates in sketching sessions with the behavioral specialist, product manager and business analyst, coaches younger developers and partners with operations to improve the continuous delivery pipeline. The Tech Lead implements the designs proposed by Solution Architects and taste-tested with IS/IT Consumers.
  • Responsible for Validating the Building and Testing Automation Solutions
  • Contributes to value delivery plans to meet the objectives, typically in sync with product management, enterprise architecture and business analyst
  • Oversees and facilitates the research, evaluation, and selection of technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configuration
  • Drives innovation by leveraging new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and IS/IT estate
  • Understands, advocates, and augments the business and IS/IT strategies and, more specifically, EA development and product delivery
  • Is responsible for key system design and integration decisions around tools, processes and practices enabling teams to apply DevOps practices
  • Contributes to the Strategy on technology/tool usage to achieve Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (ID) in its area of expertize
  • Creates Solution Design Document (SDD)
  • Assists with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring solution and integration architecture compliance
  • Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to recommend solutions for improvement. Leads the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise as well as on the enterprise technology architecture
  • Oversees, or consults on, technology implementation and modification activities particularly for new or shared solutions with the Architecture Community.
  • Accountable for ensuring target architectures meet current and identified future security, compliance and privacy requirements
  • If merging, versioning and releasing code is slow, then implements a continuous integration pipeline with automated regression testing and either no branches or feature branches
  • Works with peers (e.g., enterprise, BAs, information and solutions architects) to analyze enterprise business context
  • Works cross-functionally to accomplish assignments. Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization
  • Collaborates with experts and architecture peers to develop products that incrementally deliver business value
  • Helps the enterprise architect define metrics to measure and demonstrate value
