Responsibilities

  • Daily organization of bulk products to customers while minimizing the distribution cost and taking into account legal, operational & safety constraints, he/ she is responsible for a continuous customer supply, he or she is able to adapt the daily plan to the daily constraints (product sourcing, trailers breakdown, drivers availability etc…), understand & close the loop after the deliveries, understand distribution KPIs & able to define concrete action for continuous improvement
  • 1 - Optimizing Deliveries:
  • Daily review of customers' consumptions, identifying triggered customers to be delivered.
  • Prepare the daily plan in the most optimized way optimizing Km/ton, vehicle hours (Fleet & Drivers Utilization) each trip
  • Adapt the proposed plan by ALTO to the daily constraints (Product availability, fleet breakdown, drivers availability)
  • 2- Trip Return Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Close the trip after the deliveries, understanding exception for future improvements
  • Update the transport management system( ALTO ) by the right setting for future deliveries optimization
  • Analyze daily distribution KPIs in coordination with bulk analyst introducing potential savings opportunities
  • Asses regularly the transport system ( ALTO ) database & identify incoherent data in coordination with bulk Analyst & digital tools owner to correct incoherent data ( Data cleaning )
  • Dispocoaching & training of other planners to raise their awareness of bulk fundamental & best practices techniques for deliveries optimization.
