  • Employ Agile, Product Owner mindset, Shift Left testing methodologies and best practices utilizing collaborative tools like Jira, JTMF, and Confluence to ensure projects progress in the right direction.
  • Lead and integrate cross-functional understanding of Products, defining Product Vision, Product Roadmaps, business goals, business and technology capability maps.
  • Create end-to-end traceability from business goals to business rules and features, epics, user stories, and test cases.
  • Keep current on emerging trends, tools, and techniques to improve product development and delivery, including best practices from Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop productive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, actively seeking ways to enhance capability and performance efficiency.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the business area and the bank.
  • Expert knowledge of SWIFT messages, ISO20022, MX and MT formats.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting such as EFTR Fintrac, sanction screening, fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML), compliance reporting.
  • Knowledge of non-wire payment methods like drafts and checks.
  • Understanding of payment systems such as Canada Lynx, US CHIPS, and FedWire.
  • Experience in payment data, canonical models, and payment data mapping.
  • Understand project timelines and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with related partners and resources (onshore and offshore).
  • Employ critical thinking and conflict resolution skills to solve complex problems.
