Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of insights analysts, providing guidance and strategic focus while ensuring projects and insights are delivered on time.
  • Meet with Cruise Line and Modality Directors weekly to deliver timely insights, providing context to drive business decisions in areas such as pre cruise, onboard revenue, staffing, strategic initiatives, and supply chain.
  • Support business initiatives by identifying strengths and weaknesses through ad hoc analysis of sales data pertaining to specific brands, providing insight and recommended solutions.
  • Preparation of written analytics and PowerPoint decks, as required to make recommendations that are supported by insights, metrics, trends, financials, and other reporting.
  • Using various BI reporting tools, efficiently analyze large volumes of data, quickly draw insights, and present clear and concise recommendations of results leveraging your visualization, data storytelling and communication skills.
  • Develop innovative and interactive scorecards, executive dashboards, reports, and analysis templates to provide insight and recommended solutions. Analysis would be related to revenue, staff productivity and utilization, revenue yield management, inventory, recruitment, and other operational and financial process metrics as needed.
  • Utilize BI reporting tools to create reports and insights that relate to utilization, yield management, staff productivity, supply chain, staff recruitment, pre booking of appointments, marketing promotions, and other operational metrics.
  • Assist the Data Architect in the development of an extensive data catalog.
  • Develop SQL queries to extract data from multiple sources for reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Intelligence.
