Responsibilities

  • As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for formulating system scope and objectives, validating developed requirements, testing, training, and implementing applications and providing end-user support.
  • The role performs technical depth and breadth tasks, validating and documenting business requirements for assigned projects to maximize operational efficiency and ensure project control procedures and policies are executed.
  • The Senior Business Systems Analyst determines project methods and approaches, providing business support relative to developing, analyzing, and identifying process changes or system enhancements.
  • The role uses judgment and autonomy on daily tasks, providing operational support for projects after implementation, including problem resolution and recommendations to ensure ongoing success.
  • The role proactively addresses problems within the scope of responsibility and identifies areas for possible improvements.
  • Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.
