What is the role of a Cardiac Support Worker?

Where will I be working as a Cardiac Support Worker?
The role involves working at Castle Hill Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary, and in community diagnostic clinics once the new Community Diagnostic Centre is completed.
Is there any training provided for this role?
Yes, in-house training and support will be provided to learn basic ECG interpretation, and further progression opportunities with training in holter analysis and reporting are available.
What types of diagnostic tests will I be performing?
You will perform a range of basic cardiac diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms, ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitoring, and cardiac event/loop recordings.
