Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
  • Facilitate decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation across strategy, operations, and organization
  • Act as a critical linkage between the senior leadership team and the rest of the organization, ownership, and partner entities
  • Help ensure that the leadership team is a highly functioning group, with clear goals, processes and strong follow-through
  • Serve as liaison between the leadership team and other teammates regarding Beam Living culture, project updates, proposals, and planning
  • Build and develop relationships with all teammates for increased efficiency and greater responsiveness in existing operations and help to define new operational strategies
  • Act as a primary driver of internal communications, alongside the President
  • Partner with the leadership team to establish internal company reporting standards, including annual/quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Partner with the President and other leadership team members to facilitate internal reviews of organization performance, assess new business partnerships, and review progress of key initiatives
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop presentation materials for Board and company meetings
  • Support Beam Living’s further collaboration with other portfolio companies, including LivCor and Preferred Apartment Communities (PAC)
  • Maximize the effectiveness of the leadership team by helping them balance priorities, communicate effectively, participate in the relevant meetings and connect with business partners and employees
  • Partner with the President to facilitate strategic planning processes and develop and manage plan to ensure successful execution of strategy
  • Partner with leadership team to develop actionable business plans, ensure communication to departments and establish appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms
  • Partner with Blackstone and the leadership team to manage and execute initiatives
  • Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with leadership team on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity and propose workable solutions to challenging problems
  • Implement change management processes and tools to help facilitate large-scale business transformations
  • Identify opportunities to create internal and external collaboration and synergies
  • Autonomously lead projects having moderate to high levels of complexity by providing strategic direction to project teams, peers, and stakeholders to drive results
