Responsibilities

  • The Climate And Environmental Consultant Will
  • Understand and communicate climate change resilience and adaptation and the broader context of its relevance to government and private entities.
  • Have broader skills and experience in the fields of climate change mitigation, natural hazard management, sustainability and/or other relevant environmental consulting and modeling disciplines.
  • Provide defendable, strategic, and in some cases statutory advice to clients in defence, energy and resource sectors.
  • Use their unique technical background to support the evaluation and execution of climate-related projects.
  • Project manage a range of projects with a high degree of oversight and planning, ensuring projects are executed to time and budget constraints and to client satisfaction.
  • In This Role You Will Be Able To
  • Perform high quality and professional technical work involving considerable independence in approach, and a high degree of originality, ingenuity, and judgement.
  • Serve as a technical specialist in a climate-related or related environmental management field, applying advanced concepts, principles and methods in an assigned area.
  • Liaise with clients, potential and current, for the purposes of service delivery.
  • Prepare, review and submit proposals / tenders, collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Share knowledge and acts as collaborator with staff within other areas of expertise.
