Responsibilities

  • - Provide support to the Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance system-wide SACT demand and capacity project by supporting all SACT units across Kent and Medway to look at their demand and capacity, write a report of the findings and develop recommendations and actions for the unit.
  • - Support the unit leads to write a business case in support of the findings as required.
  • - Support the SACT units to manage their demand and capacity.
  • - Support improvements using quality improvement methodology and tools, especially around patient experience and patient safety.
  • - Work closely with the lead nurse and MSD UK, a global pharmaceutical company.
  • - Contribute to the wider workforce requirements for SACT units in Kent and Medway.
  • - Work with MSD and stakeholders on the demand and capacity project.
  • - Complete an options appraisal and review of current SACT services.
  • - Complete a gap analysis.
  • - Link with the oncology workforce review.
  • - Be seen as a clinical expert and act as a resource to all members of the multi-professional teams working within the Trusts.
