What is the primary role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Integrated Pain Management Service?

You will be part of a busy and friendly multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals based in the West Suffolk Hospital and the Community.
What type of pain management strategies will I be involved in?
You will be involved in interventional, pharmacological, and non-pharmacological strategies to assist patients with pain management.
What are the required qualifications for this position?
You should possess more than 3 years of post-registration experience within an NHS environment, along with excellent communication and organisational skills.
What kind of education will I be expected to provide?
You will provide education and information for patients and/or their carers in the management of acute and chronic pain, promoting understanding and strategies for self-management. Additionally, you will participate in delivering clinical education sessions to the multi-professional team.
