Requirements

  • We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our Cardio-Oncology CNS team. This post will be a fixed term 12 month contract.
  • The Cardio-Oncology clinical nurse specialist is a role for an independent practitioner working within the multi-disciplinary cardio-oncology team.
  • The post holder will work closely with the whole multidisciplinary team to take responsibility for helping to coordinate the clinical care of cancer patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • The post holder will be expected to develop specialized skills and knowledge relating to the field and ultimately to perform nurse-led clinics with consultant cardiologist oversight alongside the main cardio-oncology clinics.
  • The post-holder will be managed as part of the Heart Failure CNS team, with cross-cover as appropriate between colleagues.
