Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to support digital transformation and cloud migration efforts.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to craft effective cloud architecture and data service requirements.
  • Provide expert advice in migrating data from legacy on-premises applications to AWS Cloud implementations. Examples include compare/contrast AWS data storage media, database conversion methods, implementation strategy for data pipelines to cloud environments.
  • Continuous assessment of compliance with data requirements, formats, sharing agreements, and Air Force and DoD data policies across multiple cloud migration efforts.
  • Assess target AWS architectures against requirements to identify gaps and suggest remediations.
  • Assess data pipeline designs against requirements to identify gaps and suggest remediations.
  • Provide data archival strategy for Petabyte class architectures.
