Requirements

  • Experience with traditional, on-prem storage vendors, including Dell EMC, Pure, HPE, Hitachi, IBM and others
  • Certifications from one or more public cloud providers
  • Certifications in Kubernetes or Cloud Native concepts
  • Education:
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience required; Bachelor's Degree Desired - Sufficeint additional experience & certifications applicable in lieu of Degree.

Responsibilities

  • As a Cloud Insights CSA, you will:
  • Work closely with sales specialists to understand customer needs, and the fit of the solutions NetApp offers
  • Design solutions that may include one or more of software, cloud subscriptions and professional services; running technical workshops to demonstrate those solutions
  • Design and run proof-of-concepts to illustrate the fit of solutions within the customer’s environment
  • Assist with the development of business cases and return on investment (ROI) calculations
  • Work with professional services and / or customer success functions
  • Nurture existing customers request with a consistent feedback loop to PM/Engineering
  • Proactively integrate with existing customer to ensure long term health
  • Evangelism:
  • Presenting at customer and partner executive briefings, NetApp and partner sales meetings, etc.
  • Participating in / host industry meetups and user groups
  • Publishing videos, reference architectures, significant wins, etc, internally and / or externally
  • Improvement / learning time:
  • Staying abreast of the latest developments in public cloud and infrastructure services
  • Acquiring / maintaining technical expertise
  • Developing or enhancing processes and techniques employed by our sales and technical teams
