Responsibilities

  • You will ensure that crude, oil products, natural gas and chemical feedstocks are delivered to Shell Trading & Supply customers around the world. This includes the efficient running of physical assets while ensuring timely delivery of fuel to Shell customers, a structured approach to optimising molecules in the supply chain, applying knowledge of trading tools and technique as well as commercial acumen, and ensuring Continuous Improvement in the management of our processes. At the same time the management of all physical operations is handled with an uncompromising emphasis on HSSE, Compliance and Product Quality.
  • Operations are crucial in executing the 'life of the deal,' managing the movement of bulk oils or product tankers from supply to delivery in an operationally excellent and optimal way, preventing profit loss and seeking opportunities for added value.
  • The role is central to coordinating all operational aspects (including cargo and freight) and scheduling activities for a specific set of accounts, ensuring all obligations from contracts and charter parties are fulfilled.

  • Ops manage vessel operations, including scheduling, routing, bunkering, stow planning & optimization, issuing voyage orders, and overseeing the fleet of vessels under their charge.
