  • Commercial Management: Build on the existing channel onboarding activities and processes. Boost process implementation and more importantly refinement through the corporate feedback loop to enhance robustness. Assess commercial rationalization, approval Delegation of Authority, onboarding principles, compliance, due diligence and risk management. Drive Salesforce and data system completeness
  • Integrity: Act as the focal owner of internal controls, internal and external audit programs, due diligence and compliance. Responsible for building and managing an indirect sales governance framework in close collaboration with legal, compliance as well as audit and risk teams. Own the risk management function and contract lifecycle management
  • Strategy: Define and implement industry leading commercial management processes and governance policies to control and streamline the commercial activities administering the way we work via partners globally. Reinforce the current commercial framework and analyze portfolio positioning to drive strategic cleanup and rightsizing
  • Operational Support: Continuously analyze status quo and propose portfolio repositioning. Operationalize the deal risk structure. Partner with channel operations team on organizing and coordinating performance management programs and associated system updates
  • Contractual excellence activities: Form a review board for critical partnership assessments. Cleanup and harmonize existing contract structures and standardize them as applicable. Cleanup the channel portfolio to achieve the best optimized outreach globally
  • Targets: Support driving strategic partnerships and help drive synergy across the portfolio between hubs, business lines and divisions.
  • Collaboration: Benchmark other ABB business best practices to drive harmony and deliver the fastest-to-implement and most professional system possible. Partner with the controllership team on managing the Sales Rep (Agent) payment process in all its aspects from accrual to controls to cash out. Drive connectivity with the rest of the organization on implementation and adoption of common initiatives and practices
  • People leadership and development: Form a team that constitutes the Center of Excellence for all commercial aspects of the indirect sales business starting from channel onboarding. Utilize existing and double-hat resources that might not report directly to this role but be the best fit for covering regional contract specialist roles. Manage change management, new process rollouts and associated training
