Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Communications Specialist role, leading the development and delivery of content
  • Previous experience working on a change or transformation programme
  • Proven experience of managing a communications plan to time
  • A solid understanding of communications principles, methodology and tools
  • Experience of developing content in a variety of formats using different communication tools (including Google Suite)
  • Experience of working with innovative tools and being creative with the way technical content is presented
  • A proven ability to engage teams at all levels
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in the media industry and with rights / contracts / Legal teams is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Developing a communications approach based on the programme’s Change Strategy and delivery plan, and ITV’s ways of working
  • Creating and maintaining a strong relationship with ITV’s Internal Communications team to identify and utilise relevant communications channels
  • Using a Change Impact Assessment to develop a tailored and relevant Communications Plan
  • Developing effective communications materials using a variety of formats
  • Equipping the Programme Sponsors, senior stakeholders and Change Network with relevant and updated content as they engage with others
  • Managing the storage of communications content
  • Measuring the effectiveness of communications, capturing feedback, identifying required updates and iterating content and plans
