Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Consult and support job analysis to assess the responsibilities, requirements, and relative value of positions across the organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate salary grades and ranges based on job content, market data, and internal equity.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, analyzing regular market pricing and compensation benchmarking studies to ensure the organization’s pay practices are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Provide consultative expertise in compensation planning for business leaders, to include date factoring, quartile target analysis, and premium adjustments.
  • Analyze market data, internal salary structures, and compensation trends to make recommendations for base pay adjustments, promotions, and annual merit cycles at enterprise and direct contract levels.
  • Develop and maintain compensation metrics and reporting to support decision-making and compliance needs.
  • Assist in the design, development, and administration of incentive compensation programs, including variable pay plans and bonuses, and collaborate with the Talent Development team on recognition programs.
  • Ensure incentive programs are aligned with organizational objectives, competitive in the marketplace, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of incentive programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership, HR business partners, and department managers to provide guidance and expertise on compensation strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Act as an internal consultant to deliver training and education on compensation topics, ensuring a clear understanding of compensation programs and processes across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and consultative expertise in administration of Service Contract Act and collectively bargained employee compensation, in collaboration with contract, legal and program leadership.
  • Collaborate with peers within HR and other departments to ensure compensation initiatives are integrated with broader talent management strategies.
  • Ensure all compensation practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, including FLSA, OFCCP, Service Contract Act (SCA), relevant state laws, and other applicable guidelines.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve compensation processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support audits, reporting, and other compliance-related activities as needed.
