Responsibilities

  • Managing timelines to ensure conference preparation is on track. effectively work with internal and external teams to ensure that deadlines are met, and that authors and team members have all information required.
  • Confirming proposed program structure with Project Lead and Chair and ensure it works within limitations of time, space, poster space, etc.
  • Tracking author registrations and match with accepted abstracts; update system with replacement speakers if needed. Chase authors to register by author registration deadline
  • Compiling all files per requirement for online/print version. Handle all email queries with 48 hrs TAT
  • Assisting Conference Project Lead onsite with set up, registration, delegates queries and all elements needed for successfully running a conference onsite
  • Travelling - Travel to about 8 conferences annually
