  • - AWE is currently recruiting for a Client facing Construction Design and Management (CDM) Subject Matter Expert, who will be responsible for supporting the management, oversight and coordination of the Construction, Design, and Management Regulations within the AWE estate.
  • - The role will involve supporting a diverse range of projects inclusive of a significant ‘UK leading’ multi-million-pound forward build programme of new facilities and associated infrastructure.

  • - Solid experience and a thorough working knowledge of the CDM Regulations.
  • - A recognised professional Health & Safety qualification such a NEBOSH Construction as a minimum but preferably higher such as NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ 4/5/6 or Degree in Health & Safety or ICE Health & Safety Registration.
  • - Chartership (or working towards) through a relevant organisation such as IET, CIOB, ICE, RICS, IOSH, CABE, RIBA or similar.
  • - Experience in the full project life cycle (design, construction and handover).
  • - Excellent level of technical acumen and a confident and astute communicator.
  • - Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
