We are looking for an ambitious Health Economist and Outcomes Researcher [HEOR] to join our growing and highly talented team as a Consultant. The position will suit someone with 3+ years’ experience in health economics who wants to further develop their technical skills around the measurement of patient-reported outcomes, including the application of advanced statistical analyses and the development of tools for primary data collection.Purpose of the role:<ul><li>To contribute to a range of mixed-methods and/or quantitative health economics and outcomes research projects as member of the patient-reported outcomes (PRO) team; projects typically include health valuation and utility measurement, analysis of outcomes data, burden of illness surveys, patient preference studies and development of patient-reported outcome measures.&nbsp;</li></ul>Desired Skills and ExperienceFunctional technical expertise<ul><li>Higher degree (PhD or MSc) is required.</li><li>A degree in health economics or related methodological discipline (i.e., economics, epidemiology, pharmacy, medical sciences) preferred, but not required</li><li>Ability to work independently, but also as part of a cross-functional team</li><li>In depth knowledge of health economics and methodologies for the analysis of patient-reported outcomes (e.g., utility measurement, analysis and development of patient reported outcome measures, development of (online) surveys, costing studies)</li><li>Experience of designing and implementing health economics and/or PRO studies (including patient surveys and surveys for members of the general population)</li><li>Exceptional writing skills, including the preparation of detailed reports and manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals</li><li>Good knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g. Stata, R)</li><li>Excellent quantitative skills, including econometrics</li><li>Evidence of project management skills</li><li>Good knowledge of HTA methods and processes as well as different global HTA environments</li><li>Able to clearly communicate complex technical issues</li><li>Fluency in English</li><li>Excellent MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills</li><li>Experience in advanced statistical methods, HTML/Javascript, experience with Qualtrics and/or successful proposal development are an advantage!</li></ul>What we offer you!<ul><li>Individual support and flexibility to foster a positive work/life</li><li>Competitive compensation packages and great benefits</li><li>Fantastic opportunities for professional development, working along industry experts</li><li>Tight-knit, collegiate office environment</li><li>Opportunity to work in one of our many locations and potential remote work is available – London, Newcastle, Ireland, Poland [please indicate your preferred working arrangements and location in our application form]</li></ul>
