Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with customer:
  • Negotiate terms & conditions with customer
  • Negotiate contractual scope and commercial terms with customer
  • Contracts:
  • Set-up, monitor, evaluate and advise on the contract legal and commercial content, and complement agreements if necessary
  • Analyse needs and objectives of clients, partners and internal departments
  • Analyse proposed text of customer against above analyses
  • Translate requirements in text proposals to be incorporated into the contracts
  • Verify compliance with Stork Group Legal guidelines
  • Legal risks:
  • Analyse and control possible risks in contracts
  • Propose acceptable solutions to adjust contracts based on the identified risks
  • Prevent unlimited risks in contracts and veto their inclusion
  • Ensure contractual risks are b-2-b in the chain (subcontracts)
  • Control:
  • Ensure checking of contracts for accuracy of data
  • Ensure identification, and where relevant, implementation of corrections
  • Ensure no unlimited risks are included in the contract
  • Internal coordination:
  • Inform, advise and coordinate with internal departments with respect to changes and (im)possibilities in contracts and agreements
  • Interface with operations (Technical), Commercial people, legal and insurance in order to balance the contractual issues.
