Responsibilities

  • Analysing complex deal structures from a legal, tax and regulatory perspective
  • Drafting, negotiating and finalising high level terms, termsheets, commitment and mandate letters
  • Taking ownership of deal execution, liaising with clients and external advisors (including technical and legal advisors) to ensure a smooth and well organised transaction process including the negotiation and finalisation of transaction documentation
  • Co-ordinating internal approvals and managing deal Q&A with internal stakeholders
  • Identifying and developing solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks which arise at deal or industry level
  • Producing information memoranda for internal and external parties, including the investor committee, credit committee and lender syndicate
  • Supporting origination efforts by contributing to client presentations and pitches, participating in client meetings
