Description

  • Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Early Career Cyber Systems Security Engineer.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Security, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to work in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to travel as required (25%)
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework
  • Familiar with full software development life cycle, and system engineering process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive, and team-based environment
  • Technical writing experience
  • DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ certification or higher)

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will ensure that cyber security requirements are properly defined, decomposed, allocated, implemented, and assessed to produce a cyber-resilient security design solution for the target platform. This includes participating in working groups, design reviews, and formal artifact reviews alongside other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and providing security expertise to ensure cyber security is considered early in the product development lifecycle. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods, Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) implementation to mitigate cyber risks, and effective communication with a range of audiences. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
