  • Capable of using spreadsheets, word processing, graphics packages, and standard Microsoft Office software to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Adaptable computer software skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, CMMS or Database applications
  • Technical writing skills with the ability to translate technical subjects into clear descriptions
  • Experience in graphics design and basic HTML coding
  • Ability to travel within the US for days at a time, up to 4 times annually

Responsibilities

  • Operate personal computer equipment with Microsoft software and other applications
  • Work with Microsoft SharePoint Online lists, pages, templates, and document libraries
  • Demonstrate proven problem solving, communication, organization, attention to detail, and customer service skills
  • Interpret a variety of instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form(s)
  • Extract and input technical information, such as equipment nameplate data, photographs, graphics, and scientific information
  • Report, retrieve, confirm and update stored data
  • Basic technical writing and re-arrange information, including highlighting parts of the text, moving paragraphs from one page to another, and formatting information into columns
  • Annotate photographs and graphics for presentation in technical writing
  • Perform quality reviews of data for format consistency
  • Work with Adobe PDF files, including scanning, conversion and configurations
  • Manage photograph sizing, rotation, uploading, and linking
  • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings via MS Teams and in-person
  • Follow all company cyber-security rules and best practices
  • May require limited travel
