Responsibilities

  • Works with team to develop design ideas, create presentations and construction documents
  • Will be drafting technical drawings and review Junior Designer's space plans
  • Reviews construction documents to ensure compliance with firm standards, building systems, codes and ADA requirements
  • Works with Senior Designer to research and select fixtures and finishes for projects
  • Produces preliminary concept designs for larger projects, but may develop and finalize conceptual designs for smaller projects
  • Helps mentor and develop junior level team members on projects
  • Develops/manages design budget and project cost estimates
  • Reviews engineering and landscape drawings to ensure they comply with design solutions
  • Will conduct client interviews to determine space needs and requirements for projects
  • May go on site visits/surveying when needed
