Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all orders are despatched on time while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Ensure 100% stock accuracy within the department by monitoring all movements into and out of the Despatch area, investigating discrepancies as necessary.
  • Ensure quality and stock rotation standards are adhered to
  • Maintain timely and concise communicate with transport companies to ensure delivery SLAs are achieved
  • Deal with any issues arising from internal and external stakeholders, and where required respond to queries appropriately.
  • Ensure adequate resourcing is available to meet daily despatch deadlines
  • Lead, develop and set performance targets on a 1:1 basis for the team to achieve and improve performance targets
  • Implement and monitor Health and Safety compliance ensuring that all documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Company Policy and Procedures
