Responsibilities

  • The main and routine tasks of this position are to:
  • Develop and complete test plans based on game features and design documents as drawn up by the development team, to pinpoint the bugs and methodically verify all of the aspects of the game pertaining to their work cell.
  • Conduct tests on a variety of technical features including deployment of game servers, observability and live operated content.
  • Validate the condition of our related features in Anvil editor and main builds.
  • Carry out regular and specific checks of the tasks assigned to their production cell.
  • Produce and maintain documentation on processes or functionalities concerning your team.
  • Use the development team’s tools to identify bugs using the Jira database, and follow-up with other members of the development teams to facilitate their resolution;
  • Work with other development testers to stay up to date, fix features, suggest solutions to failures, share knowledge, etc.
  • Track feature bugs found by internal and external teams, and follow up with developers to ensure their correction in real time (sort, prioritize and assign to the right developers).
  • Be the point of contact for the teams responsible for feature testing;
  • Collaborate with your team lead and fellow developers to understand the overall game vision and design documentation.
  • Carry out all other related tasks.
