Responsibilities

  • The main work area is within the Main X-Ray department at Chorley & South Ribble Hospital with occasional requirement to work within main X-Ray at Royal Preston Hospital.
  • You would be working a combination of shifts including long days, nights and weekends in a rotation through all aspects of Plain film including theatres as well as CT and Fluoroscopy.
  • You must demonstrate high standards of radiography, organisation and patient care.
  • There will be opportunities to gain experience in other imaging modalities including CT, Intervention, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear medicine, with the possibility of advanced training in these areas.
  • The trust has recently invested in a variety of new equipment across all imaging modalities.
