Requirements

  • Photography & Retouching:
  • Proficient in using a digital camera (SLR) for various photographic tasks.
  • Proven proficiency with Photoshop for basic photo editing and retouching, and the following Photoshop functions:
  • Layers: Organise and manage different elements within an image.
  • Masking: Create complex selections and composite images seamlessly.
  • Pathing: Use vector paths for precise selections and cutouts.
  • Blend Modes: Apply different blending techniques to achieve desired effects.
  • Experience in CGI post-production, working with CGI renders.
  • 3D Creation:
  • Proficient in using Blender for basic 3D tasks. (Cinema 4D, Maya or Max also acceptable)
  • Skills in modelling, texturing, and lighting to create simple 3D assets.
  • Design & Concept Development:
  • Understanding the iterative nature of design and incorporating feedback.
  • Skills in creating, sketching, and effectively communicating ideas visually.
  • Design background with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Communication & Presentation:
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to peers and supervisors.
  • Verbal presentation skills for sharing ideas with the team and clients.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Digital Arts, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with image and or video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Da Vinci.
  • Experience in creating storyboards and thinking in terms of film language and sequences.
  • A portfolio showcasing both a mix of retouching and 3D.
